The Big Dogs

"Most people are so busy knocking themselves out trying to do everything they think they should do, they never get around to do what they want to do."
-- Kathleen Winsor

Yeah, well I have nothing really to say this week. But I haven’t missed a Friday post for the whole year and I don’t want to start now.

So this is how I feel...but I'm not going to let the "big dogs" get me down.

*hugs*

As Dad always used to say, non carborundum illegitimati. :D

One of my sci-fi series has a saying: Listen to dogs barking, and you'll only go deaf and not learn very much.

Remember -- for each of those "big dogs" there is someone else who knows you are FABULOUS.

*sends you hugs and love*

I have that photo on my wall at work. A special person sent it to me early in my time there, when things weren't going well. Not long after that we lost him to cancer, so it's a very special photo to me. I've always taken it to mean that the cat is unruffled in the face of those dogs...I'm the cat - at least I'm trying to be - totally unfazed...

(But I adore German Shepherds, too, so in my mind it speaks to the fact that even those big fierce dogs can be tamed to behave...as your big dogs can)
(((((((Hugs)))))))

Now those are some well trained dogs!

I'm thinking the cat is an experienced "dog antagonizer" as well. Probably is paraded past a big line up of dogs like that on a daily basis as part of their training. Pity the day that he meets up with one not so well trained!
